Who We Are
I come from a family of do-ers, always making, creating, sewing, gardening… and my grandparents started making jewellery in their retirement. I still have the first ring they made me!
Once I had finished university, I took night school classes in Silversmithing and Jewellery making with my mum. We have created many pieces over the years for ourselves, family and friends. The highlight has to be making wedding rings for my husband and myself.
When I made these, I also applied for a personalised hallmark - a guarantee of authenticity and metal quality. My makers mark - the ES initials in a rectangle of rounded corners - is totally unique to me, and will be stamped on all products over a certain weight. Currently this is 7.78g for silver, and anything containing more than 1g of gold.
The name “Elements Of Silver” comes from the initials of my hallmark, and my love of science. I have a degree in applied Chemistry, and you may notice some science themes incorporated into my designs!
I am currently designing ranges evoking the ancient elements of Earth, Air, Fire, Water and Ether, which includes the sun, moon and stars.
